St.
Mary's Band Club has a long interesting history which goes back
to the year 1808. Since then, the band club has undergone
several changes both in relation to the building itself as well
as to the day-to-day running of the club. Today the band club
boasts magnificent premises with over 700 members.
Due to
today's technological evolvement, the Executive Committee
decided that the band club needed a website so as to be able to
portray its beliefs and help people keep in touch with what was going
on at the band club from home, work and abroad.
The band club launched its very first website in 2002
and immediately there was a positive response. From that day on, the
website went through several changes so that it could act as an
extension to the band club itself and visitors could feel at ease
accessing the information needed. Today the website boasts more than
41,000 visitors!
The Executive
Committee along with the rest of its members would like to thank all
those who, through their hard work, are continuously helping them make
such a wonderful dream come through!
