St. Mary's
band is under the direction of Mro. Jeremy Sultana. St. Mary's Band takes part in many
activities apart from the village feast. The band usually
performs during other local feasts, Christmas concerts etc. Have
a look at some photos taken during such occasions.
An important event was the musical programme organised by St. Mary's Band
Club to commemorate the 70th anniversary from the set-up of St. Mary's
band. Mro. Herbert Pace (former band director) along with his band gave a magnificent
performance! The people present at this musical programme were
positively impressed with such local talent. Among the pieces of work
executed one could find Peter Gunn, Beatles and Seventies Medley, La Copa della Vida,
Reach and many others.
